Youth Surf Summer Camps
At Brown Girl Surf Summer Camp, you will build confidence, learn to surf, and explore the marine environment in a supportive, girl*-centered environment.
All sessions are open to girls* & gender expansive young people ages 9 – 18 (or 19 if you are a senior in highschool).
All equipment, wetsuits and snacks will be provided! No experience is necessary. We take our time exploring our relationships to the ocean and marine environments. Starting our camp off locally, at Alameda Beach, then venturing out to the coast to play in the open ocean later in the week.
At Brown Girl Surf, we welcome cis girls/women, trans girls/women, non-binary youth, gender non-conforming youth, gender queer youth and any girl-identified youth, who seek a girl-centered space.
Minimum enrollment is 6 participants per session. Maximum enrollment is 12 participants per session. Depending on the demand, we may have to limit participants to one session of summer camp
Camp location is TBD.
Upon registration for our program, you will receive an email with details on where to meet and what time.
